- An Indian Head Massage known as 'Shiro- bhyanga' works with the 5,000-year-old Ayurvedic concept, which, goes beyond the limits of healing, and places emphasis on creating balance. Shirobhayanga involves Marma massage for stimulating the energy pathway on the upper back, shoulders, neck, scalp, and face with special Ayurvedic oils. The stimulation of the marma points increases nourishment and oxygen to the scalp and the entire body. The aim of this therapy is to release tension in the muscles and joints of the head, face, neck, and shoulders. When combined with Ayurvedic foot reflexology known as 'Padabhyanga' it rejuvenates and fortifies health and improves the flow of energy through marma points found on the soles of the feet. Steam towels are used during the session.
